Katja Špur, Team coordinator
Katja Špur is Director of Strategy and Partnerships at Just Results, leading business development and partnership efforts and advising Just Results CEO on strategy and planning. Katja brings over 15 years of experience in government and international development working in a wide range of areas from project implementation, to working with international donors, to public policy.
Previously Katja has held roles as a member of the Board of Executive Directors for the Interamerican Development Bank (IDB), the head of a large infrastructure project for the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) in Brazil, Advisor to the Minister of Finance of Slovenia, Director General of Directorate for Development and European Cohesion Policy in Slovenian Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, and as a Policy Advisor at the European Parliament.
Hashim Pasha, technical advisor
Hashim Pasha is a trade diplomat and governance expert based in Washington, DC. Previously, he was a Fellow in Democracy & Governance at Georgetown University in the Department of Government. He has also served as the Trade Development Officer at the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington D.C.
Hashim has worked in the past for the Governments of Malaysia, the United Kingdom, and the city of Washington, DC. He holds a BA from Tufts University, an MA from Georgetown University, and is a Harvard Business School certified negotiator.
Colin cook, technical advisor
Colin Cook is the Finance and Operations Manager at Just Results. Colin manages accounting, day-to-day operations project operations, and supports financial planning and business development. Prior to joining Just Results, Colin analyzed regulatory policy for businesses in Florida and worked at a think-tank analyzing tax policy at the state level. Colin graduated from Florida State University with a BS in Economics. He is currently completing a Masters in Applied Economics at Johns Hopkins University.
Valentina Cartagena, website designer
Valentina Cartagena is a rising junior at Barnard College of Columbia University where she is studying Architecture and Environmental Science. She's looking to specialize in Sustainable Design and later attend Columbia's GSAP program. Originally from Colombia, she's passionate about the ecology of the Amazon forest and lives her day to day looking to minimize her impact on the environment.
Every year she volunteers at the Common Ground Country Fair organized by MOFGA (Maine Organic Farm and Gardener Association). She also serves as a mentor to her community's youth at the Hope and Future Center as a coach to help raise awareness about health, fitness and leadership. She is looking to study abroad in Patagonia to further her field experience and understanding of sustainability in a changing world. Valentina has participated in multiple rock climbing competitions and continues to practice the sport, but found a new passion for rugby and has been playing for Columbia's club team for over 3 seasons and serves on the executive board.
Euvodie Ludmilla Pierre
Euvodie Ludmilla Pierre is a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with broad-based proven experiences in sustainable development, agriculture, food security, and forestry in Haiti and Costa Rica. She is a Research Analyst Intern at Just Results, where she performs data research including collection, manipulation, and analysis. She also assists in the writing and translating of reports, projects, and proposals.
She has an in-depth understanding of developing country contexts through professional field experience and her academic background. Outside of work, Euvodie enjoys teaching friends and family about the joys of sustainable farming and how easy it is to get started. She is fluent in Haitian Creole, French, English, and Spanish. She holds an M.A. in International Affairs from the School of International Service at American University, Washington, D.C., an M.A. in Natural Resources and Sustainable Development from the University for Peace, San Jose, Costa Rica, and a B.A. in International Relations and Global Studies from The University of Texas at Austin.
Alex Brun
A native of the Washington, D.C. Area; Alex Brun is a rising second-year undergraduate student at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. He is a prospective double major in Government (with a concentration in International Politics) and French Studies. He is dedicated to mastering the French language and will study abroad in France during his third year. He is also a New Student Orientation Leader, former Red and Black Student Ambassador; and a distance swimmer on the Wesleyan Men’s Swim Team, among various other activities.
This summer, Alex started his position as Research Analyst at Just Results, and has played a significant role in conducting research, correspondence, and performing a myriad of organizational tasks. After university, he plans on working in the field of international relations or attending law school. During his free time, he enjoys photography, hiking, and watching critically acclaimed films.
Marilluly Peraza
Marilluly Peraza is a graduate student at American University in DC pursuing her master’s in international development with a specialization in community-driven rural development and monitoring and evaluation. She is a skilled Project Manager and excels at gantt charts, risk analysis, and work break down structures. She also has extensive research experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis on World Bank and USAID projects. This has consequently allowed her to analyze the social-environmental impact caused by dam construction projects in Latin America and applicable strategies to enhance social capital for forest-dependent groups.
Currently, Marilluly is interning at Just Results as a Research Analyst where she assists in writing operational manuals, analyzing business operation policies, and creating data visualization tools.
Moezza Siddiqi
Currently enrolled at the University College London in MSc Development Administration & Planning, Moezza is a development enthusiast and an advocate of technology for development. Having completed her BSc in International Development from the London School of Economics, she joined CIRCLE Women, a social enterprise working towards women empowerment in Pakistan. There, within a short span of three months, she was promoted to the position of Business Development & Project Manager.
Her stakeholder management skills make her a dynamic team player and a self-motivated individual with excellent research and public speaking skills. She is also known for having an infectious enthusiasm for problem solving. Her current experience as a graduate student in London has sparked her interest to research how technology can be an enabler in uplifting the poor. In her graduate thesis, she explores the importance of streamlining government digital initiatives for a deeper penetration of the digital economy.
Agustina Palencia
Agustina Palencia is an International Development Master’s Candidate at the Elliott School of International Affairs, and a Fulbright scholar from Argentina. She’s currently an intern both at Just Results and the National Endowment for Democracy. Agustina has over three years of experience in international development by working at for a human rights NGO in Argentina, both as a coordinator and project manager of the Democracy Strengthening and Global Governance areas. Her work was related generally to research, policy analysis and advocacy; and specifically, to transparency, accountability, access to information, corruption, open data, and open government issues.
